The opportunity

We are expanding our presence in Belgium and are looking for a driven Operations Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll help shape the future of logistics by overseeing contractor and driver operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering outstanding service. You’ll be working closely with our Operations Manager for the Netherlands, collaborating across teams in both our headquarter in Copenhagen and our Amsterdam office, as well as the various sites in Belgium. The job

As our Operations Specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing daily contractor and driver operations in Belgium, with a focus on the French-speaking regions. In this role, you will oversee operations at multiple sites across Belgium, ensuring top-tier performance, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

Fluency in French is essential, as you will be coordinating with local teams, contractors, and drivers primarily in the French-speaking parts of Belgium. You’ll also be responsible for Quality Assurance, Performance Management, and Process Improvement, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency throughout the region.

This role will require regular travel to various Belgian sites, where you’ll engage in hands-on work to optimize operations and ensure smooth execution. Compliance with local regulations will be key, and you’ll contribute to enhancing our operational efficiency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

About you

• Previous logistics or transport 🚚 experience is a plus, and you’re no stranger to hands-on operational roles.
• You’re comfortable with travel, visiting sites early in the morning, and driving to ensure smooth operations.
• You take initiative, creating solutions rather than waiting for them.
• Fluency in French is essential for this role, as you will be coordinating extensively with colleagues, clients, contractors, and drivers. Proficiency in English and Dutch/Flemish is also required to ensure smooth communication across all teams and stakeholders.
