The job

As our new Data Scientist, you’ll be part of our Data Science & Analytics team, building AI models that drive smarter logistics. You’ll transform large amounts of data into insights, automate processes, and help Mover stay at the forefront of innovation. Think of yourself as a critical player in creating product-oriented solutions that reduce waste and improve people’s lives worldwide.

Here are some of the tasks you could be working on:

• Create Optimization Models
  Create optimization models to enhance logistics performances, delivering predictive and actionable insights.
• Create AI Models
  Use advanced AI techniques - encompassing large language models (LLMs), deep learning, and custom machine learning algorithms - to design, develop, and deploy robust solutions that transform complex data into real-time decision-making tools.
• Reporting & Analytics
  Design, develop, and implement KPIs and reporting tools for data-driven decisions.
• Collaboration & Innovation
  Collaborate to transform ideas into scalable, reusable products, driving innovation from concept to continuous improvement for diverse customer needs. Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Automation Workflows
  Streamline processes and ensure smoother operations by creating effective automation workflows.
• Continuous Improvement
  Conduct post-model evaluations and refine solutions for reliability and accuracy – ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.

About you

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• ChatGPT is your right hand
  You love using large language models like ChatGPT in your daily work, viewing them as essential tools that amplify both productivity and creativity—whether you’re writing code, designing algorithms, or exploring innovative solutions.
• Relevant Education & Experience
  A Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics) and proven experience as a Data Scientist (or similar).
• Strong Problem-Solving Skills
  You’re analytical and love building product-oriented solutions that create real business value.
• Tech Proficiency
  Expertise in predictive modeling (machine learning, deep learning), prescriptive modeling (operations research) and data processing/modeling tools (Python, SQL).
• Business Acumen
  Ability to understand, communicate, and solve complex business challenges through data.
• Visualization Skills
  Familiarity with data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Operations Research
  Expertise in Operations Research techniques for advanced optimization solutions.
  
  We'll be super interested 👀 if you also have:

• Experience with large-scale data handling and pipeline creation.
• Exposure to cloud-based data infrastructure tools.
• A knack for integrating machine learning models into production environments.

   We’ll share who we are, what we expect from the role, and get to know you better.
4. Take-Home Exercise & Final Interview
   If you advance, we’ll give you a small task and schedule a final interview soon after.
5. Offer
   If there’s a mutual match, we’ll present you with an offer.
