THE JOB

As our IT Operations Student Assistant, you’ll be working closely with our Platform Engineering team, supporting day-to-day IT operations and helping us deliver a seamless experience for employees across the company.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Hardware lifecycle: Enrolling laptops via Intune/Autopilot, maintaining asset registers, managing joiner/leaver devices, issuing loaners, and coordinating hardware retirement.
• Identity & access management: Handling Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes, creating/closing accounts, managing licenses, updating distribution lists, and running access reviews.
• SaaS & portals administration: Managing SharePoint, Teams, Jira/Confluence, and keeping service catalogues up to date.
• Helpdesk support: Assisting with first-line support such as password resets, device setup, and printer/meeting-room basics.
• Endpoint & security hygiene: Monitoring compliance dashboards, remediating security issues, and verifying encryption.
• Documentation & enablement: Updating onboarding packs, maintaining license usage reports, and ensuring employees have clear self-service options.

From the very start, you’ll be contributing to keeping Mover’s systems secure, efficient, and employee-friendly.

ABOUT YOU

We imagine you are:

• A student within Computer Science, Software Development, IT, or similar - preferably on your last years of your Bachelor’s degree or your first year of your Master’s degree.
• Curious and structured with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
• A strong problem-solver who enjoys working independently as well as in a team.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and outgoing, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
